So as I understand it, and correct me if I'm wrong, when immigrants are coming into the U.S (legal ones, not the illegal ones. Another argument against illegals) they have to go through a rigid medical test right?
Well when we, not just immigrants, travel abroad, to all these hot climate destinations where weird exotic infections and illnesses are present, or if they get HIV or something, on their way back they aren't tested right?
So what the fuck? Isn't that a scary thought? I made a trip today for business (domestic but still got me thinking) and it occurred to me so was wondering if I'm missing something. We don't get tested when returning from vacations so anybody could be bringing back anything. What good does it do to check immigrants if we are going to their countries on vacations anyways and not being tested.
Meh, I don't know. Just a passing thought.
